    Domaine Les Vins de Vienne má 11 hektarů na svazích Vienne, z nichž většina je osázena hroznem Syrah a malá část hroznem Viognier. Klíčovými slovy filozofie tohoto vinařství jsou trvale udržitelné vinohradnictví, respektující životní prostředí, kontrolované výnosy a sklizeň v optimální zralosti.

    La Cote Rotie Lieu-Dit Le Plomb je mikro cuvée 100% hroznů Syrah pocházejících z pozemku nacházejícího se na úplném severu apelace Côte-Rôtie, orientovaného na jih a na půdě tvořené převážně břidlicemi. V této oblasti jsou léta obzvláště suchá a réva trpí. Letní sucho nutí rostliny hlouběji vstřebávat vodu a zároveň přináší zpět minerály z podloží. Výsledkem je červené víno s charakterem, které pak zraje 16 měsíců v dubových sudech, aby se zjemnily hranatější rysy a dodalo mu to jemnost.

    Je to víno s pevnou osobností, které silně vyjadřuje terroir a typické vlastnosti hroznů Syrah. Ve vůni je dobře patrné černé ovoce, tělo je plné a třísloviny jsou hladké a elegantní. Dochuť je dlouhá a poměrně pikantní. Toto skvělé červené víno je ideální k pikantním masům podávaným s houbovou omáčkou, hovězí pečeni nebo například ke svíčkové.
