Although a good variety of wines, i ordered a 2016 Saint emillion and i received a 2017 one from the same chateau. It was wrong information on the stock availability on the website. I contacted them and they accepted to correct the mistake and offerrede alternatives of different wines or refund and picking up the wonrgly delivered bottle. As a first experience it was not one of the most positive but again these things can happen

Ca di Press je piemontské vinařství založené rodinou Prassenda na počátku 20. století v obci Monforte d'Alba, které se více než sto let věnovalo prodeji hroznů a sudového vína. V roce 2018 se však situace změnila, když se Alice a Cristina Pressenda společně se svými rodiči rozhodly začít stáčet vlastní víno. První etikety byly uvedeny na trh v roce 2022.

Hrozny Nebbiolo pro toto Barolo pocházejí výhradně z podoblasti Perno, která se nachází přibližně 500 metrů nad mořem. Po sklizni dochází k spontánní fermentaci pomocí původních kvasinek a hotové víno poté zraje 20 měsíců ve velkých sudech ze slavonského dubu.

Výsledkem je charakteristické víno s intenzivní rubínovou barvou a granátovými odlesky. Vůně Ca di Press Barolo Perno odhaluje komplexní a široký aromatický profil s tóny sušených fialek a červeného ovoce (zejména třešní a švestek), proloženými kořeněnými a minerálními tóny na tabákovém pozadí. Na patře je bohaté, vyvážené a teplé, s dobře definovanou strukturou a pevnými, dobře integrovanými taniny. Závěr je dlouhý, elegantní a vytrvalý. Je to ideální víno k červenému masu nebo zvěřinovým gulášům, ale dobře se hodí i ke zralým sýrům.
