    Vína Pinot Noir

    Červená vína odrůdy Pinot Noir (Rulandské modré) bývají elegantní s lahodnými tóny malin, červených třešní a jahod a hladkou, dobře zakulacenou strukturou. Tato vína mají obvykle lehké nebo střední tělo s nízkým obsahem tříslovin a alkoholu a dostatkem osvěžující kyselinky. Hrozny odrůdy Pinot Noir se také používají k výrobě šampaňského, a to buď samostatně, nebo ve směsi s odrůdami Chardonnay a Pinot Meunier.

    Klíčové oblasti vína Pinot Noir

    Nejlepší Rulandské modré pochází ze slavného regionu Burgundsko v severní Francii, kde chladné klima dává vyniknout charakteristické svěžesti a jemnosti této odrůdy. K dalším oblíbeným oblastem pro Pinot Noir patří Central Otago na Novém Zélandu, Oregon a stát Washington a části Kalifornie jako Carneros, Russian River Valley a Sonoma Coast, které jsou ochlazovány blízkým Tichým oceánem.

    Párování potravin s odrůdou Pinot Noir

    Díky vyváženému chuťovému profilu s nízkým obsahem tříslovin a dostatečnou kyselinkou jsou červená vína Pinot Noir velmi univerzální, pokud jde o párování s jídlem. Přirozeně se hodí k pečené kachně, vepřovému masu a zemitým houbovým pokrmům, jako jsou rizota a dušená masa. Šampaňská vína vyrobená pouze z odrůdy Pinot Noir, která jsou známá jako Blanc de Noirs, bývají bohatší a dobře se hodí k tvrdým vyzrálým sýrům, hřebenatkám smaženým na másle nebo dezertům z červených bobulí.
