Although a good variety of wines, i ordered a 2016 Saint emillion and i received a 2017 one from the same chateau. It was wrong information on the stock availability on the website. I contacted them and they accepted to correct the mistake and offerrede alternatives of different wines or refund and picking up the wonrgly delivered bottle. As a first experience it was not one of the most positive but again these things can happen

Rodina Catena je na argentinské vinařské scéně celebritou díky tvrdé práci Nicolase Cateny, který v roce 1994 vyrobil první jednodruhové prémiové víno Malbec určené na export. Dnes je rodinné vinařství ve schopných rukou Laury Cateny, čtvrté generace Catenů, která vyrábí víno v Argentině. Spolu se svým otcem Nicolasem strávila Laura roky studiem Mendozy a mapováním jejích mikroklimat a podoblastí.

Catena Alta je rodinná řada jednoodrůdových vín s omezenou produkcí, která vychází z rozsáhlých znalostí rodiny o nejlepších vinařských podoblastech Mendozy. Hrozny pocházejí z nejlepších řádků vinic panství, včetně světoznámých vinic Angelica a Adrianna, které se nacházejí na úpatí And.
