I buy from here from time to time as they have some favourite wines that it's difficult to source elsewhere. Acceptable prices and well packaged. My only reason for not giving five stars is that the delivery date never is the date given at check-out. Always a few days later. So take the delivery date with a pinch of salt.

Historie

Vinařství Capari Valley je pojmenováno podle gruzínského slova pro "koňskou hřívu" na počest zvlněných kopců v údolí, kde roste jejich vinná réva. Celkem mají 93 hektarů osázených původními odrůdami vinné révy, které jsou pěstovány ekologicky.

Ve vinařství se ovoce fermentuje pomocí divokých kvasinek a kvasí ve velkých hliněných nádobách zvaných qvevri, o kterých se předpokládá, že se zde v Gruzii používají již od starověku.
