Nezapomenutelné narozeniny s DAOU & Colomé Oslava narozenin mé matky byla ještě výjimečnější díky dvěma úžasným vínům - DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 a Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. Hvězdou večera byl bezpochyby DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Od prvního doušku nás zahalil do svého bohatého, sametového objetí. Hluboké chutě tmavého ovoce, náznaky kakaa a dokonale vyvážený dub způsobily, že každá sklenka působila jako opravdový požitek. Bylo to odvážné a zároveň elegantní víno, které bez námahy vneslo do našeho setkání teplo a radost. Když jsem viděla svou matku, jak s úsměvem vychutnává každý doušek, bylo to ještě nezapomenutelnější. Colomé Auténtico Malbec se také krásně předvedl svým čistým projevem vysokohorského Malbeku. Bylo silné, se zralými ostružinami, kořením a hladkým, dlouhotrvajícím závěrem - vynikající doplněk večera. Tato vína nejenže vylepšila naše jídlo, ale stala se součástí oslavy a pozvedla každý přípitek a konverzaci. Srdečné poděkování patří společnostem DAOU a Colomé za to, že se tato výjimečná událost stala opravdu nezapomenutelnou!

    A Birthday to Remember with DAOU & Colomé Celebrating my mother’s birthday was made even more special thanks to two incredible wines—DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 and Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. From the first sip, it enveloped us in its rich, velvety embrace. The deep dark fruit flavors, hints of cocoa, and perfectly balanced oak made every glass feel like a true indulgence. It was bold yet elegant, a wine that effortlessly brought warmth and joy to our gathering. Seeing my mother savor each sip with a smile made it all the more memorable. The Colomé Auténtico Malbec also delivered beautifully, with its pure expression of high-altitude Malbec. It was powerful, with ripe blackberries, spice, and a smooth, lingering finish—an excellent complement to the evening. These wines didn’t just enhance our meal; they became part of the celebration, elevating every toast and conversation. A heartfelt thank you to DAOU and Colomé for making this special occasion truly unforgettable!

    Historie

    Vinařství Capannelle se rozkládá na 20 hektarech půdy v oblasti Gaiole v Chianti, Siena. Dříve patřilo Raffaelu Rossettimu, který koupil statek ze 16. století, výroba ve vinařství začala v roce 1974 a první Chianti bylo uvedeno na trh v roce 1975. Od skromných začátků se vinařství rozrostlo a vyrábí Chardonnay IGT, Solare IGT, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG a také červené 50&50, směs Merlotu a Sangiovese. Nápad na směs 50&50 byl inspirován výjimečnou sklizní v roce 1988 a obsahuje Merlot vyrobený v Avignonesi di Montepulciano, který spojuje to nejlepší ze dvou světů. Produkce v Capannelle přesahuje rámec vína a každoročně se z ní získá 800 litrů extra panenského olivového oleje.

    Zajímavá fakta

    Zavedení high-tech přístupu k výrobě vína a pečlivá pozornost věnovaná klimatu zrání jsou středem pozornosti vinařství Capannelle. Kromě všech potrubí/ventilů z nerezové oceli se používají kádě pro kvašení, aby bylo zajištěno hygienické a uzavřené prostředí a aby se zabránilo změně vůně vína. Mikroklima se vytváří díky tomu, že barikový sklep je 3 metry pod zemí, kde se kontroluje klima, aby se zajistila správná úroveň teploty a vlhkosti. Víno zraje v dřevěných nádobách,které jsou ideální pro vína Chardonnay a Solare, a barikové sudy pro bílé víno se vyměňují každý rok, zatímco barikové sudy pro červené víno se vyměňují každé dva roky.
