    Verdicchio di Matelica je méně známá bílá italská odrůda a rodina Bisci patří k jejím nejpyšnějším představitelům. Obývají 25hektarový úsek půdy v regionu Marche - jediném místě v Itálii, kde se Verdicchiu skutečně daří. Vinařství Bisci založili v roce 1972 bratři Giuseppe a Pierino a dnes v něm pokračují Mauro a Tito, Giuseppeho synové.

    Vigneto Fogliano se vyrábí z pečlivě vybraných hroznů, které se sklízejí na nejstarší vinici panství. Ve vůni je cítit buket bílých květin - lilie, jasmínu a heřmánku, po kterém následuje závan citronové kůry, hrušky, zeleného jablka, tropického ovoce a bílého pepře. Má pozoruhodně svěží charakter, který se odráží v zelených odstínech, jež se objeví, když ho nalijete do sklenice.

    V chuti se Vigneto Fogliano rozvine do směsice letního ovoce, doplněné o tóny čerstvých bylinek, manga a minerality. Závěr je dlouhý a obtěžkaný jemnými mandlovými tóny. Před uvedením na trh víno kvasilo a zrálo v betonových tancích, poté ještě 3 měsíce zrálo v láhvi. Jedná se o dobře strukturované víno s bohatou kyselinkou, které se výborně hodí k bílým rybám, humrům nebo měkkým sýrům.
