V roce 1939 koupil Château Brown André Bonnel, ale v 50. letech 20. století bylo pěstování vinné révy zastaveno a téměř dvacet let se zde nevyrábělo víno, dokud nebyla vinice znovu osázena. Byl prodán Jean-Claude Bonnel Bernard Barthe panství viděl velké investice a úsilí, a v roce 2004 byl koupen rodinou Mau Yvon Mau Négociants a nizozemské likérky Dirkzwager.
