Historie
Tento ceněný výrobce z Langhe sídlí v půvabné středověké vesnici Neive a své vinařství má ve skutečnosti v jejím zámku z 18. století. Pozemek vlastní rodina Stupino od roku 1964 a v současné době má 26 hektarů vinic a 20 hektarů lískových ořechů, které pěstuje komerčně.

Zajímavá fakta
Ačkoli se panství specializuje na výrobu vynikajících červených vín, vyrábí také fantastická bílá vína, jako je toto pozoruhodné Arneis. Jeho vznik se datuje do 70. let 20. století, kdy se průkopnický vinař Italo Stupino rozhodl vyrobit bílé víno pro svou ženu, která neměla ráda červená vína. Italo experimentoval s 20 různými klony Arneis v rodinné vinici Montebertotto a vybral tři nejlepší, které vysadil na dalších vinicích.
overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
